Kennedy assassinated when diem was assassinated: reasons: some say kennedy was killed b/c he tried to pull out troops from vietnam. Us military personnel in vietnam: you can see that there"s a full scale escalation in. 100,000"s of troops sent to vietnam toward the 1965 and until 1971 (done by johnson)
