Part 1: 20 points (graded based on the amount of detail included). The notes from the interview must be provided, in addition to the essay; they can be unedited, hand- written. Ask your parents for a couple of hours of their time, and ask them if they would be willing to answer questions about your upbringing. Find a time in which both you and your parents are relaxed so the conversation does not feel like an unpleasant task in need of completion but rather a pleasant conversation about your upbringing. The order of the questions is up to you, but please try to obtain answers to most of them. The why component of each question is the most important as the core purpose of this project is the identification of cultural influences on your development.
