Much of promise of personalized medicine as failed to be delivered. ~2 million cases (and 100k deaths) from adverse drug reactions in the us each year. ~general issue lots of adverse reaction that not know cause. +drug for colon cancer that targets specific mutations. +beneficial to 2/3 of patients without certain mutation. +test genetics and see if drug will help.
