There was no division of labor and social support. Women began to do much more heavy physical work during their pregnancies on the land: this is a good example of an embodiment of inequality. These are all cases were the social setting becomes part of their bodies and becomes part of their lives and affects their life expectancy. Economic change cannot just be spoken about on the macro level but can affect each person individually. (cid:862)la(cid:271)or (cid:373)arket fle(cid:454)i(cid:271)ilit(cid:455)(cid:863) labor laws increasingly seen as impediments to investments (minimum wage, worker protections, union protections) Subcontracting of factories, so company is not accountable for labor practices. Ex: garment factory collapse in bangladesh, 2013.
