Most avant groups start out with a manifesto. They are monsters made of the matter called paint, of cloth, metals, earth, and marble, which through a meaningless actwere made to fraudulently assume appearances other than their own . Gutai art does not alter matter, gutai art imparts life to matter . Artist added water, let it dry, to get to the right consistency. The surface below the mud is gravel. Many artists of this generation had experience of violence etc. Their works often could reflect this, their ideals were driven by gutai (concrete) Gutai works of art focus on interaction between person and matter/material. Forensics : how were these gutai paintings made. Not rlly possible to make these paintings with a brush.
