Stories move through time with protagonist and anatagonist from beginning to something happens and wants to find out what"s next: portable characteristics. Really long rolls but when you roll it up it is very compact: emaki genres: Engi: refers to type of emaki and tells stories of all the miracles that is part of history of buddhist site, these miracles relates to spiritual power of that temple. Hagiography: tells a story of a holy person in a form of religion, vividly illustrate all kinds of spirits and ghosts that is normally invisible. Tells a story of a prince called geji. Its a romance of all of the amorous relationship that prince geji had. Fundamental social structure like aristocrats that had separate powers with each of his wives.
