Coding strand sequence is identical to the RNA sequence
- Even though RNA is transcribed off template strand, the RNA sequence is the same as
the coding strand

tRNA structure
- Each tRNA has 4-5 arms
-Anticodon arm = contains anticodon, interacts with mRNA
-Amino acid arm = attaches to amino acid
-Other arms = structural, interact with ribosome, tRNA synthetase
tRNA nomenclature
-tRNATry - tRNA that recognizes codon for Tyrosine, but does not necessarily have Try
amino acid attached to it
-Tyr-tRNATyr - tRNA that recognizes codon for Tyr and is "charged" with Tyr amino acid
-aminoacyl-tRNA- a tRNA with an amino acid attached to it
