The manifest motivation for such thrill hate crimes is to gain a feeling of. Tend to be carried out by otherwise ordinary individuals . Often the attackers think society doesn"t care about he victims. Unlike thrill-motivated incidents, defensive hate crimes are typically perpetrated by a single adult offender in the aftermath of some threatening event. In these hate crimes, the perpetrators often sees themselves as. Defending their turf-their neighborhood, their workplace, ther religion, their country, etc. In a retaliatory hate crime, the actual perpetrator of the initial attack is typically not a target of violence. Instead, members of the victimized group direct their hatred randomly causing acts of terrorism to be committed indiscriminately in what can become a vicious cycle of warfare. Mission hate crimes are committed by dedicated hatemongers who are willing to devote their lives to the cause of ridding the world of evil-the evil they associate with various groups considered to be outside of the mainstream.
