The main objective for this lab is to get more practice making complex flow charts. By the end of this lab we should be able build a flow chart with one stock and multiple converters with multiple connection. We should also be able to make a graph with two y-axis. This lab opened up the possibilities to understanding how a stock, like mono lake, can change with time depending on multiple variables. The flow chart for part a - building a simple model of mono lake. This is a basic model showing three flows in and two flows out. Stream in is dependent of water diverted to la and total sierra runoff. Precipitation in is dependent on the are and the precipitation rate. Evaporation out is dependent on the area and the evaporation rate. The flow chart from part b - adding complexity to the model.
