Constant patterns of behavior and performance by which individual approaches educational experiences. Some can study alone or in a group. Learning styles can change, change by age, environment and experience. Student learn better when they are taught in their specific learning style. It is necessary but it not a main factor that influences the results, its not a causal affect. Kinesthetic learners- you need to have hand on. Student centered approach of teaching- fostering the child. Promote student metacognition- how we think about our learning. Many assume that they learn the same way i learn. They teach in a way that may only benefit those that learn as they do do. Its harder for teachers but they need to provide instructions for all of their students. Learning style variation within the same cultural group. Within group variation depends on the degree to which children are raised in a traditional cultural communities. Hard to locate simple figures in complex patterns.
