Mexican workers there received pretty good wages at least compared to those elsewhere but they actually had it pretty bad. Us workers here got way better conditions while the. Mexican workers filled out like that bottom of the hierarchy. Also, mexican workers paid by pesos which didn"t help when there was a devaluation of the peso. So then the owner, col. wilmer greene, decides to bring. 24 mexican workers and 2 us managers get killed. So then 2 days after, rural police show up and hang the ringleaders of the strike.
