Same skin tone, shows image of african people in the mind of europeans. Animal representation shows how strange and foreign africa seems to. Peopling suggests that there weren"t already people there. The language we choose to use changes how we portray history; shows perspective. It"s only wilderness bc they"re lost all of the time. Objective, one drop rule: one drop of black blood makes you black, but not the reverse way.
