Personal statement: professional, a self-reflection of past experiences, tone should be optimistic. Should describe your experience in a story (not fiction writing: diction should show an academic background in writing. Writing instructions: friendly, supportive, clear, concise, and instructive. System tutorial: friendly and informative, more for conveying information about the system, diction shouldn"t be too complex (targeting a more general audience)
