9% of women report 9% of homosexual attraction or behaviors, and 10% of men. Average age for onset of sexual activity is 17. Women less likely to describe hooking up as a good thing. 40% hook up in their 1st year in college. Sex with in romantic relationship still twice as common then hooking up with random. More as they get older and about half of high school students have sex. Oral sex with opposite- more female than male. Pain associated with sex that leads to the disorders. Must be present for over 6 months in order to be diagnosed. Sexual difficulties are extremely common and not always distressing. One study- 40% of men had some difficult with erection and ejaculation. Males and females experience with disorders have parallel versions for the most part. Men are more stressed then women form these disorders. Women more interested in the intimacy of the relationship.
