They think of how things affect the group, not the individual. Sociology is the systematic study of the relationships among people and organizations. There are informal institutions: gangs, social networks, support groups. How groups relate to each other overall arrangements in society. It is hard to determine causes of events. You need to have a good knowledge of statistics to be a sociologist. We would be looking at content of newspaper articles, advertisements, speeches, any type of text content. We would be looking at analyzing the text. Comparing reagan"s first inaugural speech and second inaugural speech. Reagan was diagnosed with alzheimer"s after his first inauguration. The person who did this comparison wanted to find out how it affected him through the years. You can"t let people know that you"re observing them. Trying to get questions and answers out of the subjects. Trying to get info from people who don"t want to give it out.
