Two or more individuals collectively interacting with their environment with a common identification and shared goals. In-group = social unit that we belong to or identify with (we,us) Out-group = social unit that we do not belong to or identify with (they,them) Defined as groups of two or more individuals, typically between 2 and 20 individuals, whose members are able to engage in direct, face to face interactions.
