Improved use of visual feedback control: secondary phase is slower than primary, goes from very uncontrolled to fairly controlled by the time they reach 12 months, required direction and distance perception. Infants sensitive to all 5 primary taste: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, umami: taste preferences, nursing response, prerifial neurons, smell is fairly well developed at birth. If belief is wrong they will have to change their beliefs: taking a bath- all objects are solid until they experience a bath, want schemas to be stable.
