We have to be comprehensive and canvas all of our beliefs, and feed out which ones are good and bad. I should hold back my assent from opinions which are not completely certain and indubitable . Whatever i have up till now accepted as most true i have acquired either from the senses or through the senses . Argument from illusions : the senses occasionally deceive us with respect to objects which are very small or in the distance , optical illusion.
