Picture is about status, a display of wealth. Distorted skull on the ground, looks like a stick. You need to think beyond what is visible. Holding sheath of dagger that has his age on it (look at his fingers, think about that fur) Musical instruments, all the senses in the picture. Also has to do with learning, they were so into that.
