In early italy, etruria had pretty much everything, including urbanization. Had city walls, gates, temples, bridges, paved roads, sewers, central markets. Rome borrowed its political beliefs, social status, gender roles from etruscans. Main settlements included the area north from tiber river and rome. Etruscans were as south as pompeii and bay of naples.
