Machine language: a set of instructions executed directly by a computer"s central processing unit; directs the cpu to either a memory location itself or the integer value stored at the location. Memory holds the address and the five-digit number it stores. Sometimes, memory holds the operation code plus the memory address, other times it holds a pure integer that doesn"t represent anything. Memory can do two things: give the number stored at such-and-such address or have the memory store a new number (replace the number at location 1, 2, etc. with another number). >basically, at memory location 0, we have the integer 21004.
