Big trees like cedars that come out of the bottom. Fisheries- very clear, easy to see fish. Carbon is locked up in rain forests. As you go up the mountain, they get shorter. Top of the mountain- very short trees. Cloud that sits over the top almost year round. Drinking water from streams that come down the mountain. Less leaching of the minerals in the soils. 2 - grow things for their own consumption. 6 - chop down forest, let it dry out, burn to return nutrients from vegetation to soil. 7 - after about 8 years the nutrients of soil are gone, have to move to another area. Brazil- move people to other non populated areas. Indonesia- move people from java to other outer islands, get rid of poor people and colonize area. Coffee, bananas, cattle ranching (central and south america) Not native/natural to any tropical rain forests except woodlands. Can be really bad in drought years.
