Document Summary
Can do with live and dead trees. We used to call it global warming now we call it climate change because its more extreme climates, could be cold. 3 - sea level is rising (gone up 6-9 inches in the 20th century. 4 - climate has gone up 1. 4 degrees. One of the key things that changed is the amount of greenhouse gasses. 1800 to 2000- 270 to 360 ppm co2. Japan in the 1990s- accept global warming, set goals. In the next 100 years, temps would increase to 1. 8 celsius to 5. 8 celsius. As nations, reduce the amount o f carbon that we have. Put a cap on who much carbon each country is allowed to use. If we go over we have to buy credit from another country. Ca made 1 billion dollars from cap and trade- has to find a way to spend it to reduce carbon.
