Sentences that the child would accept without condition c (=less restrictive grammar) Sentences that the child would accept with condition c (=more restrictive grammar) 2 and 3 year olds appear to know condition c. this is consistent with the hypothesis that condition c is an innate rule. But things are much more complicated with other conditions that look very similar. Looks a lot like condition c, but kids make mistakes on this one!
