Last major jewish revolt against rome took place between 132 and 135 ce. Another push back to reclaim jerusalem and this sacred jewish land. Associate with messianic gure of simon bar koshiba, known as bar kochba. Idea of a jewish messiah who can reclaim jerusalem and start a new period of jewish rule. Shortly successful but they are thrown out again shortly after.
