Document Summary

Legal guilt - most of the germans were not legally guilty not a taint that transfers to other. Political guilt - attaches to the german state, but in which way does that guilt taint each and every member - it doesn"t not entirely clear as to why it would taint those within the state. Failure to bring about something good where you have the power to do it even though it might mean a major sacrifice in your life. If it can affectuate a change, and you didnt act to satisfy that, than you are morally guilty. Cannot transfer to each and every german. Because there were germans who were completely innocent at the time (i. e. kids) Take those who opposed german regime, take victims of the regime who were german etc. Not of way of tainting each and every german.
