Document Summary

Blood vessels have muscles around them - smooth muscles. Working out - target specific muscles - chest, back, shoulder, tricep, specific movement to target specific cells. Organ - group of cells with a common function. Muscle organ and muscle tissue is the same thing. Muscles are elongated and look like a long cylindrical. Contractile - contract and shorten to produce force. Packed with protein activity that enables muscle cell. More proteins in muscle, more force we produce. Lean body mass is how much protein you have in your muscle tissue. More muscle mass you have, more metabolism and more calories you burn. Cell is microscopic and stacked in a nice way that"s grouped. Fascicle made of muscle cells, sometimes called muscle fiber or muscle cells. Sarcomere is the functional unit of a muscle. Proteins called myofibers and each is an individual subunit. Contraction to produce force is simply the interaction between actin and myosin.
