In american politics there is continuity because we know there will be an election, congressional action etc. A lot of crap that the world throws, spillovers. Still power struggles; ex in the middle east. This leads to large numbers of refugees and asylum seekers in different countries. Trump giving russia leeway to do what they want in their area to get help fighting isis in syria, angers countries like ukraine and surrounding border countries. Has got to follow profound and solid explanation how the world works. Not always as deep as it should be. Tie into what learned in other courses.
