In understanding race we are able to look at other things like policies. Nexus is different from the race optic nexus . What we were missing in class was social inequalities. People who come here and don"t fit the mold are aliens are outsiders. They built it on white only white are americans. We pretend that everyone else is white. Culture puts them apart even if they *look* white. The race optic described on page three and highlight the things that are the most important. The problems are developed in the model of our country, they are not recent they are a linear progression. Racialization of immigration prominent in society is 2 centuries earlier problem. Theoretically speaking what we did in class can be put on a tree.
