Recall: (fill in the blanks) retrieve info that was previously stored. Recognition: (multiple choice) identifying stimuli that matches stored info. Relearning: measure of how much less work it takes to learn info previously studied, even if no memory of seeing info before. Encoding: way info gets into brain to be stored. Storage: way info is held to be retrieved later. Retrieval: reactivating + recalling info, similar to how it as encoded. Stimuli recorded into brain; held briefly in sensory memory. Some stimuli picked up by senses + processed by sensory organs sensory memory. Some info processed into short-term memory +encoded via rehearsal. Before info vanishes from sensory memory, select details to process into working memory for rehearsal + other processing. Info then moves into ltm where it can be retrieved later. More goes on in stm called working memory.
