People - the study of people (we look at people within the society, in terms of what they do) Ex. employees, members, customers, partners, consumers, suppliers. Doing - we are not just looking at human nature, but also human behavior (how people are different from one another) Ex. share, collaborate, find, meet, evaluate, create, discuss, learn things - we focus on what people are doing concrete things. Ex. knowledge, ideas, new products, cvs, experience, procedures, strategy, insights together - distinguishes sociology the most from psychology, which is more individual-based.
