The new testament contains information on the life of jesus and his followers. The old testament is written in hebrew and aramaic. The new testament was written in koine greek, also known as common greek because most of the people living in greece at that time were not well educated and could only read koine. It is so difficult to truly understand the bible because it can be interpreted in so many different ways. There have been so many changes in political contexts from. Egypt, assyria, babylonia, persia, hellenistic society and rome that it has been changed and interpreted differently in each changing of the hands.
