Moving or flapping objects may spook cattle. Objects in runway, race, chute, may cause balking. Encouraging movement: plastic strips attatched to stick. Cattle move away from noise and movement: cattle will move more easily toward herd than pen, dogs. Only utilize in open areas or pastures: cattle prod. Makes cows afraid of you: flight zone. Animals personal space where if entered they will move away. Bull is exception, will attack instead of run. If animal has imprinted on you as well it wont run.
