The study of religion is one of the most important subfields of anthropology because
if we can’t understand a religion we cant understand a culture. When
anthropologists talk bout myth they are not referring to superstition or a
misunderstanding of reality.
1. What are Myths? The way the deepest values of a religion are transmitted.
The reason why you should believe in that religion and pass it on. They are a
transmission process in which culturally, values are going to be passed, values
