Space (within mis en scene) is one of the mediums of communication in film. Dramatic importance and insignificance of a character. Most space = most power in a given scene. Spatial conventions vary from culture to culture. Our eyes identify with the camera, shots recreate ranges (eyes = camera) between ourselves and subject matter on screen. The closer we are, the greater our emotional involvement (close up shot) Lashing out because past is brought up. Outside elements working for reporter and air force. Knew it was a game but continued. Scary to see what humans can do. We don"t want to hurt them we just want them to listen . Take jobs and roles and goals seriously. What absolute power can do to you. Not letting guy who wants to leave out right away. Not ending it before it got worse. Comparable situations of perpetrators vs. victims in real life. Acting from things in past being brought up.
