Epigenetic assumption: early stages lead to later development. In attachment the social bond you create serves as a working model for the child in future relationships. Healthy development results from the reduction of children anxiety. Babies start to demonstrate different personality and emotional well being. Temperament is genetic, but it produces behavioral and and emotional differences that are a function of the environment. Big 5 personality traits (all existing on a continuum) there is always an issue of goodness of fit. If you like order and your family is spontaneous you will be at a disadvantage these are merely behavioral preferences for living. Some of us are more concrete and focused on reality. Some people go through life contemplating things that others would never think of. Some of us like to make lists. Get upset when we can"t follow the plan made. Don"t mind being the center of attention. When they are anxious they seek out the presence of others.
