All of the man-made atrcotices are a result of people acting in an immoral way. In middle school years because morality and development is more influenced by peers than parental figures. Kohlberg"s theory of moral development- moral reasoning and moral thinking evolves from threes distinct levels. Obviously parental approval and modeling are important ex: in. Mansfield mall and the mom has son steal plants waiting to be planted- mom encouraging stealing. Side with our peers, side with authorities, or develop our own moral compass/code. We cant go drinking because drinking is against the law- no i don"t want to do that because i am not comfortable putting myself in danger. Why people do things they don"t want- because of fundamental anxiety placing a barrier in delevoping a moral conduct because wondering if they matter- proving themselves to others- or competent ex: dump chemicals to get bosses approval.
