Proline and histidine do not have fluorescence: formation of a peptide bond: Each protein has different proportion, organization, and order of aa"s. Condensation rxn: 2 aa"s form bond and water is released. Oligopeptide: > 3 and < 50 aa"s. Sulfur groups: disulfide bond between 2 sulfur atoms.
