Phonology: the sample uses phonemes within the words. Semantics: the sample follows rules governing meaning. Pragmatics: the sample follows social rules governing meaning, how you mean something. When an individual exhibits significant and persistent difficulties with the comprehension or expression of spoken or written language. Language disorder: language disorders usually start off as language delays. Have an impact on a person"s life. Psychological: a lot of feelings about the disorder. Educational: we use language in education, problem with language will be a problem with education. Speech disorders treatment is very different from treatment of language disorders. The treatments and assessments are quite different so there is a division in what they are. Occurs without any other disability that would be accountable, are the language disorder and nothing else. Occurs as a consequence of another disorder.
