Poverty etc: how water management has changed from mid 20th c to present, how water is being managed in northern mexico, derives from concept of neoliberalism, new cities all dedicated to cotton, cotton prices fell: biggest factor to cotton plan falling apart, prices falling apart, makes profits slimmer and slimmer, pest problems (problems with cotton production): grow the same plant over and over again create perfect conditions for pests.
