Almost everyone has tried drug (e. g. alcohol), but only 10% get addicted (those with different brain mechanism) Met john noel, his agent, who forced his to go to rehabilitation. A treatment that over 90% of addicts don"t have access to because there aren"t enough rehab, so they take methadone. Govt been treating addiction with giving heroin sub: methadone. To prevent addicts from sharing needles and spread hiv. Methadone : lower dosage, but can still get addicted. Illicit street drug with govt approved legal drug. Most addict still use other substances on top with methadone. Most patients want to become sub-free at the end of the treatment. 80% of british poisoners are addicts, but only 10% get treatment. 50% of those who went through the program stay clean. 80% of stuff stolen are from drug users.
