Was built in less than 5 years. Iberia, spain and portugal were not very unified/stable. The main language in iberia was castillano. Spain was being formed at the same time they were able to conquer other places. Masters of making jewelry out of gold. Mining was the backbone of latin america. Produced mainly in peru, bolivia, and central mexico. Plantations mainly along the cost and caribbean cities. Created a republic up on a mountain. Spent three years resisting attacks from colonial armies. Many stories of pirates praying on spanish people. Bunch of people that escaped from slavery and started praying on people i. e. stealing cattle, etc.
