Its most distinctive feature is its use of logical argument. Deals with life"s big questions: god, goodness, justice, etc. In sum, the questions dealing with the meaning of life. Find the answers and to arrive at knowledge! Example: martin luther king may have been evil because he was going against the greater morals of society. Metaphysics: deals with theories about the nature/existence of reality. Epistemology: study of knowledge and belief and the way statements are known. Utilitarianism is the answer to what makes an action right or wrong. Logic, political philosophy, philosophy of science, of religion, of law, or art. Science relies on experiments/arguing/trying out ideas, philosophers go by thinking/wondering how things work. Philosophy is just good in itself, just like history, science, etc.
