Dead king"s panaqa continued to draw tribute. Result: most of inka population controlled by the dead the ka and ba souls. Death rites bring ba back to the body/tomb, to remain there. Dwells in mummy at night, travels by day. Underworld: dying god named osiris solar afterlife. Ba souls travel with sun god ra across the sky. At sunrise, ba souls return to solar boat myth of osiris. Conceives horus, the new osiris, whom she marries.
