Document Summary

Written language started from rich and spread to poor. Counter: the rich didn"t help the poor, in fact they often held it against them. Population not an issue since as quality of life goes up, people tend to breed less. Old people can go back into work force. Old morals do not apply to new technologies. Good points, but bringing up stagnation without substantiation or explanation is hardly better than them. I seriously doubt they were there all the time. Uh that"s not a good way to start your argument. Surprised you didn"t talk about potentially stagnant culture. Only way to achieve happiness is to struggle against limitations (i wouldn"t apply it to everyone, nor would i say only). You speak of the possibility of things going bad. Us were the first to try this, it"d be a closed experiment. Risks will decline as the tech gets better. We"re talking about the now and any and all possible futures.
