However, still squeezed, creating turbulence, which is what the sound is: continue releasing pressure, in between systolic and diastolic pressure. Still have turbulence in the system: last korotkoff sound: when you no longer hear sound, cuff pressure = diastolic pressure (80 mm hg), since it is laminar blood flow now, so no sound.
