Two basic population movements: west of africa- bantu languages- 2000 yrs ago- moved to rwanda, then 1000 yrs ago another pop moved from nile- northern central. Africa to rwanda: language spoken by everyone now is kinyarwanda. These two groups began speaking the lang together, no ethnic or language division between them.
