Chronological arc: 1820s-1920s: culminates in russian revolution. Liberal feminism begins during french revolution and culminates after wwi when granted suffrage. After french revolution: going back to absolutist regimes after napoleon"s defeat, anyone concerned with women"s issues going to be on the far left, outside of mainstream thought, socialists on the left.
