Latent learning (in rats) tolman and honzik: behaviorist: believed learning resulted from conditioning, conducted experiments on how mice learn to navigate mazes, 3 groups of rats. Unrewarded for 10 days, then receives reward: results: Group 1 learns to navigate the maze first. Once they start getting a reward, group 3 learns to navigate maze much more quickly than group 1: conclusion. Rats in group 3 were learning the maze without reinforcement during first 10 days.
