A trough is an area of a jet stream that will swing in a southern direction. Being under" a trough is actually north of the trough. Temperatures will be below normal, and weather most likely isn"t pleasant. Albedo = radiation relected from a surface/radiation incident on a surface (percentage) Asphalt and wet soil have very low albedo.
